Lentigen is focused on novel biotherapeutics as the primary value drivers for the company. Lentigen has two programs which will enter Phase I clinical trials in 2009. In both cases ex vivo treatment of cells with lentiviral RNA delivery seeks to improve patient outcome by managing adverse events of current therapy or procedures rather than exerting a direct therapeutic effect. A clinical trial for the treatment of Hemophilia A is planned for 2010.
